"Ancient Landscapes of Bryce Canyon" at the 3rd Annual Bryce Canyon Geology Festival held July 26 to 28. Many lectures and filed trips in the afternoon and evening. Get more information here.

February 26  - "Guided Walk on the Trail of Time," Grand Canyon, AZ. 1:30 to 3:00 PM. Given in conjunction with the Guides Training Seminar at Grand Canyon National Park, held for trail guides in Grand Canyon.

April 13"Ancient Landscapes of the Colorado Plateau," Given at the monthly meeting of the Desert Foothills Section of the Arizona Archaeological Society. Lecture at Good Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church  in Cave Creek, AZ. 7 PM. Free and open to the public.

May 4 - "Carving Grand Canyon," at the weekly meeting of the Kiwanis Club Cave Creek, AZ. 12 noon. Members and guests who request attendance in advance from me.

May 14 - "Carving Grand Canyon," Prescott Gem and Mineral Society, Prescott Public Library, 10 AM. Members and guests who request attendance in advance from me.

July 9 - "Ancient Landscapes of the Colorado Plateau,"  Prescott Gem and Mineral Society, Prescott Public Library, 1:30 PM. Members and guests who request attendance in advance from me.

July 23 - "Of Lines and Layers - A Grand Canyon Author's Symposium" at the Museum of Northern Arizona, Noon to 4 PM. Free with Museum admission. Authors include Scott Thybony, Stewart Aitchison, Seth Muller, and Richard Quartaroli.

July 28 to 31 - Second Annual Geology Festival at Bryce Canyon National Park, I will be one of the Keynote Speakers for the second year in a row, along with Dr. David Gillette. Lectures in the afternoon and evening. Get more information here.
